Your Ghost was written and originally recorded by Kristin Hersh from the Throwing Muses. It's from her debut solo album 'Hips and Makers' from way back in 1994. The parts that Noonan sings were done by R.E.M.s very own Michael Stipe. As beautiful as Lisa's version is...and it REALLY is...Kristin's original is, and always will be, the definitive and best version of the song possible.
