My find of the week (Found it on our own YCD site, Olly wrote about him back in Nov. of 07. What can I say sometimes I miss things on here) Chris Garneau - Album Music for Touris
From what I’ve read about Chris he’s been getting some comparisons to the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Rufus Wainwright and from what I’ve listened to so far, he too creates down tempo piano tunes full of sadness and woe like Sufjan and Rufus. It’s just what the doctor ordered for those gloomy rainy days. (sorry woe me, it’s raining in sunny so. Cali. rain = sad)
