Welcome and thank you for everyone’s continued support and encouragement. You Crazy Dreamers was formed in 2007 by a group of us off the Ray LaMontagne forum. First and foremost we all have a great appreciation and love for Ray LaMontagne. His music is what inspired our name, slogan and love for all things Indie/Folk/Acoustic.
In 2007 during Ray’s extended stay across the pond a few of us over here in the States starting looking for new artist to share with each other on the Ray Forum. Through that we all realized we had very similar taste in music. Kevin formerly of to the dogs or whoever music blog, also a member of Ray site, suggested we start a blog. So we did. Kevin eventually ventured on his own and the rest of us stayed here. All the contributors bring something different to the blog but yet so similar at the same time. It just proves that music is such a universal thing and it brings people together. Just to give you a little background on us all. Olly is from France, Geordie is from England, Laura from Chicago and I’m (Trini) from California. In 2008 Sandy of Slowcoustic joined our happy little family all the way from Canada and it’s been the crazy five of us ever since.
If you’re looking for a technical expression of the music this is not the place for you. We’re not music snobs we simply like what we like and share it with each and in the hopes that a few of you out there might enjoy it as well. Occasionally we are fortunate to talk and meet the artist we will post an interview.
