I love Aaron Thomas. I just feel that he should be much more famous than he is… His latest album Made of Wood has just been released. It’s a lot less angry than his first one and has a hidden passion that is growing on me.

Wow, I absolutely loved the movie Bella!!
It was a real feel-good-movie(& not in a cliché kind of way). Great story behind the story… making one think about life, love & people around you and the people in your life…
The actor, Eduardo Verastegui, who played the main character has the most beautiful soulful, but intimidating blue eyes:-)
I also loved the music!! So, yes, also quite disappointed to hear that there is no sound track

Oh yeah, St Augustine and Kütu Folk Records are so good ! You may check there videos on myspace.com/kutufolkrecords in the blog section. The whole band (about 10 people) plays the song of each songwriter, really cool !

They play Rainy Country in a very joyful way !

I was at one of his gigs in mallow,cork a week or so ago. The inimate atmosphere was unreal. He is so good live. I found him to be kind of a quiet guy, something really honest about him. The supporting acts were notably good too. Kate Walsh and ‘when spiderman turned bad’ guy!

I’m a little late on this one too. Just picked up the new album. I have that it’s taken a while for this album to sit well with me. I don’t know if it’s because I absolutely loved the first one and grew so attached to those songs. None the less, it’s been playing non stop on automobile cd player, so let’s give it some time.

This is the song that caused Bart to fall in love with Matt Epp. He performed it as an audience sing-a-long (in the chorus) when he visited Hamilton. The Wang doesn’t sing except at loud rock shows. Amongst about a dozen people, he was singing. This album is wonderful, which matches the artist.

Jack Savoretti is basically amazing. All his songs are special and hold a lot of sentimentality for me. I also find that he brings feelings to the surface that are otherwise hard to express.

Its a pity he’s not as well known as he should be. Harder than Easy Id have to say would be one of the most beautiful songs ever. Its like poetry from the god of love himself.

Music does heal, especially when artists like Jack Savoretti mend our broken hearts.

I just finished watching this movie – FANTASTIC AND BEAUTIFUL! The emotion caught me from the opening…watching those shiny shoes dance a little salsa. While the very end was satisfying I felt there was too big of gap left untold. Still…I loved it and am now slowly searching for the songs to download, starting with Rachel Yamagata and the unmatched, Nina Simone.
